Apparently I only post once a year now. In continuance of that tradition I bring you what is, arguably, the best, and maybe easiest, Mac n Cheese recipe. I won't bore you with the life story of this recipe other than to say that I create recipes in my head before testing them. I then test them and they don't always succeed. This recipe, however, exceeded my expectations in every way and needed no tweaking or retesting. It was an instant, pun intended, classic. I will be serving this at Thanksgiving this year, as I did last year, and most likely every year for the rest of my life. I'm pleased as punch to be able to pass it along and I truly hope you love it.

Thanksgiving 2015 Recap
Thanksgiving 2015 was a whirlwind. I cooked for three days, had three surprise guests and totally forgot to take pictures. I tried out some new things this year and can proudly say that everything turned out great.

Roasted Pumpkin Seeds - Step by Step From Pumpkin Guts to Major Yum
It's that time of year again. Actually, most of you were doing this a weeks before us because we tend to wait until the very last moment before buying pumpkins. We got three of those big, orange punks this year (Mr. Tango felt like carving one for a change) so that means LOTS of seeds. Fine by me, I actually quite like pumpkin seeds as long as I didn't make them. I always, ALWAYS screw them up. This year I was determined to overcome my pepito fear and fails.

Chrysanthemum Pastries
I found this recipe on pinterest and couldn't help but be intrigued by it. The final product is amazing. The original recipe was in Cyrillic (I think) and even after using Google's translator it was hard to decipher. I took on the task of attempting to rework the recipe in English using American measurements as much as possible.

Tater Tot Casserole
This is definitely not high-class cuisine but if you have kiddos at your table this is sure to be a hit (and it's a great way to sneak some veggies into their meal).
